  3. Schedule for Thursday, Dec 4

A. Guidelines (short version -- see How to Prepare for a Panel for long version)

  • Days: Tuesday, Dec 2, and Thursday, Dec 4

  • Time: Starts at 9:30 AM. We have little time, so the panels will start promptly.

  • Duration of presentation: Seven minutes and no more.

  • Loading presentations: E-mail your presentation to me before 8:30 AM the day of the presentation or bring your presentation on a memory device to class by 9:15 AM. Do not expect to download it from your e-mail!

  • Attendance: You need to be present to fulfill your responsibilities to your colleagues

  • Review assignments: See below. Click Proposal to get and read the research proposal before the presentation. Have questions ready before the presentation (of course modify your questions based on what you hear). The primary reviewer will ask the first question, which should address the area in greatest need of clarification.

  • Written feedback: E-mail the presenter (copying me and Nick) your written comments on the proposal and the presentation within 24 hours of the presentation. Click the Presentation link to refresh your memory of what you saw.
