Dr. Thang N. Dinh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Virginia Commonwealth University. He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida in 2013. His research focuses on security and optimization challenges in complex systems, especially social networks, mobile ad hoc networks, and cyber-physical systems. He serves as the TPC Co-chair of CSoNet 2014 and on TPC of several conferences including IEEE SOCIALCOM, IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE ICNC, IEEE MSN. He also serves as an Associate Editor of Springer Journal of Computational Social Networks.
