What Keeps me up at Night!

These are people and places that I just can't get out of my head.

Although I believe strongly in the power of the visual arts to make social change, I have been struggling with imposing this or any other mandate on artists and art educators. So, for now…I am devouring Berger's book: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GttwSZSOMlU) that features Bruce Mau (http://www.brucemaudesign.com)

And Mau's Incomplete Manifesto for Growth is calming me now as I face the continual struggle of trying to explain what I am trying to do. Read Berger's book: (http://www.amazon.com/Monkeys-Dinosaur-Babies-T-Shaped-People/dp/B0057DC9V8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315696104&sr=8-1 ) and Mau's Manifesto! (http://www.purecaffeine.com/blog/design/bruce-mau-manifesto-print/ ) You will feel better, too.

I am always in awe of Mark Bernstein and the foks at Eastgate. Storyspace started me on this journey and I hope to be able to link eLASTIC with Storyspace or Tinderbox on the back end. http://www.eastgate.com http://www.markbernstein.org

Now that data visualization is thrilling me beyond words, I have to share Smashing Magaizine!
