I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Virginia Commonwealth University. Before that, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Arizona State University, and a research postdoc at Instituto Nacional de Matematica Pura e Aplicada in Rio de Janeiro. I completed my doctorate under the of supervision Prof. Bela Bollobas at the University of Memphis, in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, in May 2012. I am greatly indebted to those around me who have helped me throughout my academic career, although this list is far to include on a website. My academic interests lie primarily in the mysteries and details of mathematics, particulary extremal and probabilistic combinatorics. Outside my academia, I enjoy weird jazz, loud punk rock, guitars, skiing, snowboarding, as well as life, the universe, and everything. You can find out about my mathematical family and collaborators here, or peek at my cv here.
