Yonas meets Genet and Asia who are new arrivals at
school; Genet asks a lot of questions.

Yonas.

G.:shimey genet iyu. My name is Genet.

student?

Y.:iwe, ane-win tem'haray iye. Yes, I'm a student,
too.

Y.:iwe, nifuE mem'hir iyom. Yes, he is a good
teacher.

G.:nisom in'tay y'm'hru? What does he teach?

Y.:nisom nay engliz'Na qwan'qwa mem'h'r He is an
English language teacher.

is difficult .

G.:itia sebey'ti-Ke men iya? And what about that
woman?
isa-Ke mem'h'r diya? Who is she? Is she a teacher
too?

school secretary.
