Listening to Podcasts
“Pod” is actually a misnomer because podcasts do not have to be played on an iPod or other MP3 player. In fact, the majority of podcasts are still listened to and viewed on computers.

Podcasts can easily be downloaded to iPods, MP3 players, and other mobile devices. According to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, in 2005 more than 22 million American adults owned iPods or MP3 players, and 29% of them had downloaded podcasts.
