Description: This course will address basic models and algorithms for network optimization. Network optimization has a wide range of applications, and is a playground of various optimization tools and algorithms. Students are expected to have certain background in basic linear algebra, linear programming, mathematical modeling, and algorithm design. After the course, students are expected to understand network optimization models, and know how to detect network problem structure in real world applications.
