Research Projects





Currently, the Rutan research group consists of the following members:


Hope P. Bailey e-mail

Hope received her B.S. degree from VCU, with a double major in chemistry and forensic science, and her Ph.D. in the Rutan group in 2012. She is staying on as post-doctoral associate and working on data analysis issues with 2D-liquid chromatography.


Daniel W. Cook e-mail

Dan received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Randolph-Macon College in 2011. His research is on the development of algorithms for the analysis of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry data.


Lena N. Jeong e-mail

Lena received her B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia in 2010. She is working on developing theory and applications of gradient stationary phases in comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography.
