Sarah C. Rutan is Professor of Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA, where she has been on the faculty for 29 years. Her research spans a broad range of areas in analytical chemistry, including chemometrics, chromatography and multidimensional detection techniques, She teaches analytical chemistry courses, including quantitative analysis, instrumental analysis, spectroscopy, chemometrics and separations.
