I bought this DII kit at the 2000 Joe Nall flyin. It is all laser cut and is a fun kit to build so far. Lots of pieces, but they all fit pretty much exactly as shown on the very good plans. I plan on painting it like the DIII flown by Werner Voss. This is the scheme shown on the DV in the photo below, but I don't know if he actually flew a DV, or a DII for that matter, but the various models were introduced (and reduced to sticks) pretty fast during WWI, so he probably flew both as the war progressed.
