Associative graph products
Abstract. There are four standard graph products: the Cartesian product, the direct product, the strong product and the lexicographic product. All four are associative. But there are other associative products in addition to these standard ones. We classify associative products and examine why the standard ones enjoy such a prominent role. This topic is not new, but it is also perhaps not as well-known as it should be.
