Square and Round Dancing Classes

Once you have graduated from a square dancing class, you will be eligible for a club badge and can join us at our dances.

Ordinarily area clubs start their beginner classes during the weeks of September.

Tuckahoe Squares (Mainstream/Plus)	Tuesdays	Start Sept. 25, 2012
Circle 8 (Accelerated Beginner Class)	Thursdays	Start March 3, 2011
Round Dance	Tuesdays	Start January 12, 2010
Round Dance	Wednesdays	Start January 20, 2010
Virginia Beach (Beginners)	Mondays	Start August 30, 2010

Usually, classes continue through April or May, meeting for an hour and a half each week and cost about $4-$5 per person per night with the first two classes free. If the class you are interested in has already started, call anyway. People often start in the second or third week of a class.

For experienced dancers who want to perfect their dancing skills, DBD (Dancing by Definition) workshops have been scheduled on Sunday afternoons. Click the Sunday link below for details.
