Arts: Completed a five-year program in the Arts History at the State Hermitage. Directed and acted in a number of plays. Participated in organization of the first two first International Festivals of Non-Acted Film, St. Petersburg.

Interests and Studies: Linguistics, history; international educational and cultural exchange, social and cultural aspects of geography; ethnology, film and other visual arts; travel. Extensively traveled in the US, Europe, and Middle Asia.
