Research Topics

My research involves the use of theoretical tools (DFT, quantum chemistry, model Hamiltonians, etc.) to investigate the electronic strucuture of complex materials, as well as to delineate the various physical mechanisms that contribute to observed experimental phenomena. The materials under investigation include surfaces, clusters, biological molecules, and ferromagnetic semiconductors. More details about my research.

Research Opportunities

I am always looking for undergraduate and graduate students with strong interest in research. Contact me for current opportunities.
