VCU Math 307: Syllabus (Old, or First Edition)

NOTE: The first edition was phased out in the Fall of 2001 for Math 201 and Spring of 2002 for Math 307. Although links to solutions are not provided here, the problems that are listed below are either identical or else, very similar to those that appear on the current Syllabus page for the second (or new) edition of the textbook. Click here to use the links on that page for answers, hints or solutions for selected problems. Keep in mind that not every hint or solution for the second edition is directly applicable to the first edition, because the problem numbers in the two editions are also different.
