I worked with Collin on some graph coloring problems in Spring 2001. He presented the work at the MAA MathFest in Madison. Then he won a Goldwater Scholarship, was named to USA Today's top 5 undergraduate students in 2003, and went to graduate school at the London School of Economics on a Marshall Scholarship.
