Please ask questions
about class or assignments in class where answers may be heard
by all. If there is a discussion group or mail list
set up for the class ask questions there. Some classes don't
have a discussion group and questions via email are welcome.
Under no circumstance will I debug
uploaded projects or those that arrive attached to email, or
attempt to debug or give technical advice over the 'phone.
If you need help debugging your work please bring
well-documented stuff to my office, or a visit to the lab,
during regular hours or
some other time we arrange in advance if you need help
debugging and I'll help as I can.
My office is on the 4th
floor of Snead Hall, B4122, North East side of the building.

is the best way to reach me. Most contact with students is in class, in my office,
or via discussion pages & email, so these are my #1 priority. I
seldom use the 'phone, never answer it when there is anybody
in my office or other work in progress, and I only check messages after email has
been leveled and any other work is done. In a last resort
situation, leave a message at 804-827-7416, but it may not be heard for days.
