Lighthouse

The image was from an old 4x5 glass negative. Therefore, the original is not my own. The

negative was exposed in an enlarger onto Kodalith high contrast film. Five positives were made

and the exposures went from overexposed (shadow areas) to underexposed (highlight areas).

Black water-based ink, made transparent with extender base, was used and printed on Lennox

100 paper. The shadow areas (most over exposed negative) was printed with the most transparent

ink and the opacity increased as the printed area decreased.
