Overview
Staffers are the analytical side of the operation. They seek out specific observations that may bear on the question at hand. They determine what holes exist in their understanding and look for ways to fill those holes. In the area of genome modification, they identify concepts of molecular biology necessary for them to contribute to the discussion and find some way to reach at least a minimum understanding of them. They try to keep their representatives within the bounds of reason. Search for a rational basis for scientific beliefs
