Regarding the notes on Gene Regulation and Bacteriophage and the two related problems (5 and 6) in Problem Set 7:
- Any problems relating the promoter and operator sites in the Lambda cI-cro region to consensus sequences?
- Any problems finding genes in TP901-1 that may be analogous to cI and cro and possible regulatory sites between them?
- Are you OK with higher order issues, like how cI and Cro proteins work in relation to RNA polymerase?
- Or even higher than that, how regulatory feedback loops work to make stable decisions regarding lysogeny vs lysis?
