Name BNFO 300: Molecular Biology Through Discovery
Objectives of course Multiple:
  • Help you make progress along the long road towards becoming an independent agent, a producer of new insights and solutions
  • Help you realize that new insights require separating observations from suppositions and that this is within your grasp
  • Help you internalize the basics of molecular biology in such a way that you may use them in the future

Time and Place Class: TR 9:30-10:45 AM, West Grace South Room 1004a (far northeast side of building)
TA sessions: Mon & Wed 3pm-6pm and Tue & Thu 4pm, Computer Lab (Harris 3112)
Prerequisites None, but Phage Lab (BNFO 251/252) certainly doesn't hurt
At whom is the course aimed? Unfortunately, the glut of participants this year may force the course to be limited to needy Bioinformatics majors. However, the course is aimed at anyone who wants, including:
  • Bioinformatics majors
  • Those who are inclined towards the objectives of the course
  • Those who have their own good reasons
