Welcome to the Atomic Engineering Laboratory

The Atomic Engineering Laboratory was founded by Everett E. Carpenter July 2004 when he moved his research from the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC to Virginia Commonwealth University.  Here at AEL we are focused on the synthesis  and application of nanoparticles for a variety of applications.  For a small sample of our current projects she out the link to the left.

 

At the AEL, we are always looking for more

research assistants.  If you have an undergraduate

 degree and are looking for a Master’s or

Doctorate in Chemistry, or Nanoscience please

don’t hesitate to contact us.  We can always use

more good research assistants.
