Research Interests

  • Growth of nanostructured materials (by dynamic oblique angle deposition technique) for energy applications
  • Three-dimensional (3D) Si spiral photonic crystals (fabricated by dynamic oblique angle deposition technique)
  • Surface-enhanced vibrational spectroscopy, namely, Raman and IR spectroscopy
  • Wetting and spreading dynamics on nanostructured surfaces
  • Coherent ultrafast phenomena in nanorod and nanospring arrays using a time-resolved ultrafast laser pump-probe technique
