meet last night with a lot of good swims taking into account that quite
a few of the races were not very competitive. Lee-Davis is a young team
where we are a veteran squad. They brought a large number of freshman and
sophomores and, yes Lindsey, eighth graders. They no doubt will improve.
I wanted to point out a couple of swimmers. Alex Hanson swam well even
though under the weather. The same for Winston. Lindsey Strachan made a
triumphant return. Glad to have you back. Paul Ream dropped time AGAIN
in the 500 free going 5:50 and pushing captain Alex Burk to the wall. And
then there was Dexter Gulick who swam the 500 for the second straight meet
and Paige Endsley who swam the 500 for us at the last minute because other
swimmers were sick and could not make the meet. Finally, Sarah Bradshaw.
It appeared that Sarah almost made herself sick thinking about swimming
the 50 Butterfly, but did and had a great final kick to nip her opponent
at the end. GREAT SWIM.
