The
Annual Turkey Day Swim was held at practice on
Wednesday,
November 24, 2004.
Congratulations
to turkey winner Kelly Zahalka!
It's
a 'predict your time' meet consisting of
4 twenty-five
yard events. Cost to enter was $1.00
(I used
this to buy water, sodas and nabs for the officials at our home meets).
The
swimmer with the closest actual time to their predicted time won the
turkey.
The times for all four events were added together and the variance in the
individual events is an 'absolute' time. Oh, by the way, the four events
are events no one swims in a meet, ie. Freestyle with Breaststroke
kick, etc.

Round Swimmers
Students
swimming for a year-round program are not required to attend team practices,
though they are welcome to. Please give coach Sultzer a note stating what
team you are swimming for and how often you are practicing. All swimmers
who commit to attending a particular meet are expected to show up.
