If VCU Library DOES NOT own the book or journal article you need,
we will get it for you free through Interlibrary Loan.
Delivery speed depends largely on how fast a library owning
your needed book or journal responds to our request.
Two weeks minimum wait should be expected for Interlibrary Loan
of needed books or articles.
Use the ILLIAD Request Form
to request books or journals VCU doesn't own via Interlibrary Loan.

Another Option:
If the VCU Libraries do not own a book you need, try the WorldCat database,
where you can search the title of the book you want and once the full record of that
book is shown on the screen, you can click type in your zip code to
see which other libraries (public or college) nearest to you
own a copy of that same book.
Often you may find that nearby college or public library has the book you need.
