or as the Chinese say, "Gung Hey Fat Choy"
(which means "Wishing you prosperity and wealth")


 

          It's the Year of the Snake (Year 4699)

January 24th through February 8th make up the
15 day celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Here's how each day is celebrated .
The 15th day of the new year is called the Lantern Festival,
which is celebrated at night
with lantern displays and children carrying lanterns in a parade.
