Mary Munford's
Amazing Web Site of the Week
April 15th-21st, 2001

One of the best magazines for kids
is published by Consumer Reports and is called Zillions.
Mrs Liggan keeps old copies in the Munford library
and many teachers at Munford keep issues in their classroom.

Zillions is now called
Consumer Reports for Kids
and is like it's parent magazine Consumer Reports
in that it gives you information on choosing products wisely
so you can spend your money well.

Consumer Reports for Kids has great articles
about topics like....
Which brands of jeans will shrink when you wash them?
and
Which flying rocket toys work best and cost the least?
and
How good are school lunches?
Can you guess which school lunch foods kids vote as their favorites?
See the answers here
or Play the "Sort and Smush" game
to learn about school lunch nutrition
and
Which new board games are really fun--and which aren't so hot?
And these articles are just in this months issue!

Plus, see how much work it takes to make
hamburgers look delicious in ads

Zillions/ Consumer Reports for Kids was named
one of only 11 Notable Children's Websites for 2001
by the American Library Association !
