Selected Contributors:

Fergus Allen's first three collections were published by Faber. His most recent, Gas Light & Coke, was published in 2006 by Dedalus Press in Dublin. Having grown up in Ireland, he now lives on Berkshire.

Ian Duhig's last book of poetry, The Speed of Dark was a PBS Choice and shortlisted for the Costa and T. S. Eliot Prizes.

Lucien Jenkins' Laying out the Body is published by Seren. His Modernism in Focus and its companion volume Romanticism in Focus came out in 2007 from Rhinegold. Discover Early Music has just been reissued by Naxos. He is editor of George Eliot's Collected Poems (Skoob), the Dictionary of Music in Soutn (Rhinegold) and the Illustrated Musical Instruments Handbook (Flame Tree/Billboard). His work is discussed in the New Companion to the Literature of Wales (University of Wales Press).

Sarah Passingham lives in Norfolk. She won the Julia Fitzgerald Award for short fiction 1995, and wrote the libretto for the oratorio Julian--Mystical Revelations. Her work has been heard on the BBC radio and appeared in The London Magazine She is currently working on fiction and a family memoir.

Rodney Pybus is amazed to discover that he is now 70. He has been publishing in Stand for 40 years.
