D.M. Black is a Scottish poet now living in London. His Collected Poems 1964-87 was published by Polygon in 1991. His translations of Goethe have appeared in Modern Poetry in Translation, Poetry London, Chapman and other journals. Website: www.dmblack.me.uk

Elizabeth Cook’s Achilles was published by Methuen in 2001. An Italian translation of it was made this year and performed at the opening of the Viterbo Festival. She is currently writing the libretto of an oratorio for the composer, Francis Grier.

Ian Fairley works as a counselor and teacher in Leeds.

Robin Fulton is a Scottish poet, translator and editor who has lived in Norway for many years. Recent translations include work from the Swedish of Tomas Tranströmer (Bloodaxe, 1997), from the Danish of Henrik Nordbrandt (Dedalus, 2002) and from the Norweigian of Olav Hauge (Anvil, 2003).

J. Kates is a poet and literary translator who lives in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.

Grevel Lindop is a former Professor of English at Manchester University. His Selected Poems appeared from Carcanet in 2000. He currently edits Temenos Academy Review and is writing a biography of the poet, novelist and theologian Charles Williams.

Clive Wilmer is a poet, translator, lecturer and broadcaster. His latest publication is The Falls (Worple Press), and four volumes of translation from Hungarian. Forced March: Selected Poems of Miklos Radnoti (trans. With George Gomori) has just been published by Enitharmon Press.
