Pitch - Grand Staff

The bass and treble clef are often joined together and form the grand staff (aka great staff). Notice where middle c appears in both staffs.

In the same manner that middle C can be notated in either treble or bass clef, other notes as well can be written in either clef. It is important to understand which notes are equivalent in bass and treble clefs.

If you have acheived a fair amount of fluency reading in each clef independently, you should now work in Javamusic naming notes in the grand staff.
