The following worksheets are arranged sequentially with the goal of leading the student to mastery! (I can always hope.....)

  • 1/2 steps, tetrachords, scales - a sort of primer for scales. | answers
  • Scales 1 - major scales only. No more than 4 flats or sharps. Answers are on same page next to questions.
  • Scales 2 - major scales with more than 4 flats or sharps. Answers are on same page.
  • Scales 3 - natural minor scales with no more than 4 flats or sharps. Answers on same page.
  • Scales 4 - harmonic minor scales with no more than 4 flats or sharps. Answers on same page.
  • Scales 5 - melodic minor scales
  • Scales 6 - mixed major and minor scales up to 4 flats and shartps | answers
