I am particularly interested in teaching Shakespeare, especially in the ways in which literary text, performance, and film may be combined in the classroom. My other major interest is communication and rhetoric, especially in various types of professional writing. Teaching techniques vary, but one of my patterns is the introductory lecture or two followed by "discussions," both question-answer and more free-wheeling types.
