A copy of each case should be available beginning on Friday morning (January 10) at the reserve desk. The two cases are a total of 14 pages.

Write a paper in which you answer the question below. Try to send your assignment by e-mail to AllenLee@Management.McGill.ca. Please do not send your assignment in the form of a file that is an attachment to the e-mail. Instead, please insert your answer in the body of the e-mail message. You can accomplish this by writing your paper with your favorite word-processing package, and then cutting or copying the text from your word-processing window and pasting the text into your e-mail window. Special formatting (such as italics and bolding) would be lost in the cutting-and-pasting process, so do not bother to use them in the first place.

If you cannot send your assignment to me by e-mail, then please deliver a hardcopy of it to my office (room 565). If I am not there, please slip it under the door.

Try to submit your paper no later than 1pm on the day of class. This will allow me to read all the papers, provide comments, grade them, and return them to everyone at the beginning of class.

Please answer the following question:

One can make up many reasonable scenarios to explain the fate that Mrs. Fields, Inc. suffered by 1993. Using the WCA framework, make up a scenario that explains (1) what happened and (2) what Mrs. Fields, Inc. should have done instead.

Although only a one-page paper is expected, you may write a longer paper if you wish.
