Welcome to the Computational
BioFluid Dynamics Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at
Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA
My
current research focuses on multi-scale modeling of respiratory
aerosol dynamics, cellular-level tissue dosimetry analysis, and their
medical applications. My expertise in computational bio-fluid dynamics and
3-D rendering make me well able to develop powerful numerical tools for
mimicking the intriguing transport phenomena in complex respiratory
networks. Much of this work is being
done in collaboration with other groups from
different disciplines such as Philip Morris USA, NYU school of Medicine,
CIIT, and the Radiation Oncology Department at VCU.
