The BioCirc Lab is located in the state-of-the-art Engineering East Hall located on the Monroe Park Campus as part of the Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Department of the Virginia Commonwealth University. Located in downtown Richmond, this urban academic and research facility provides cutting edge resources, producing research on the forefront of technology. East Hall compromises 48 research labs, 50 faculty offices, student services, and three main departments of the VCU School of Engineering. The BioCirc Lab consists of a 600 square foot lab space that is equipped with instrumentation and equipment to conduct computer modeling, experimental testing of prototypes, laser flow measurements, multiple flow test-rigs, and statistical analyses of data acquired in the development of innovative treatment options for pediatric and adult patients with heart failure.
